Administrative appeal against a decision

As a citizen or businessman, do you disagree with a decision made by an administrative body? In some cases, instead of following the normal appeal procedure, you must file an administrative appeal with an administrative body other than the one that made the challenged decision.

If you receive a decision from an administrative body, an appeal clause is included at the bottom of the decision. This appeal clause states how and with which administrative body you can file an administrative appeal against the decision. In the notice of appeal, you state why the administrative body’s decision is incorrect and request that the decision be revoked or annulled. In addition, in the notice of appeal, you ask for an award of costs for the administrative appeal.

Attorney BAS A.S. VAN LEEUWEN (LL.M., Esq.) provides the expert assistance required in these cases. In doing so, he advises at a strategic level, including considering whether going to court can be saved and (further) reputational damage avoided.
